Who will see information I may post about my company, products, jobs, news etc.?
Our travel trade audience is composed of 40,000+ tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, meeting planners, media etc. On the consumer side, using a technique called content syndication, we make your information available to consumers on various high traffic partner web sites.

What is the difference between the free and the fee-based packages and options? How do i sign-up?
We offer both a FREE and fee-based packages and options. The free option allows you to enter basic information about your organization in our tourism directory. In addition to ensuring that your company information comes up first in search results, the fee-based/premium membership allow you to be notified by email of leads and opportunities, to post news, jobs, promotional documents, videos etc.

Can we advertise in your print directory?
Our directory is online only. However, a directory may be printed upon request.

Is there a fee to use the tourism directory?
Access to the online tourism directory is free.

How do I update my corporate profile?
Upon registration, you are sent an email at the address currently indicated in your profile, containing a username and password. You may then login and update your profile. If you did not receive this email, or your email address is no longer valid, please contact us at info@tourismexchange.com.

May I remove my profile?
Should you wish not to appear in the listing, please contact us at info@tourismexchange.com.

How long will my jobs postings stay on your web site? Will they appear in the newsletter?
Job postings are displayed on the TourismExchange Portal for 4 weeks from the moment they are submitted. They are also included in the weekly TourismExchange newsletters of your choice (English Canadian, French Canadian or United States newsletters).

How much does it cost to post a job?
You may choose from 3 packages ranging from one to six jobs. For more information on rates, please goto

Can I announce new appointments as a press release?
Absolutely, premium membership gives you the right to post jobs and press releases. Posting a new appointment as a press release is a great idea.

Do you have to be a paid member to post job offers?
You have to be registered, but you do not need to be a paid member to post job offers.

How does your Request For Proposal system work?
Buyers may post a Request For Proposal. Posted RFPs may be public or accessible only to selected bidders. Notification is sent to premium members when a posted RFP meets their criteria. For instance, a hotel with premium membership would be automatically notified of RFPs for hotel rooms in their area of operations.

What kind of information does your newsletter provide? Do you server any specific markets?
Our newsletter is solely focused on news for people interested in the tourism industry. Our news articles are of interest to tour operators, travel agents, meeting planners, hoteliers, media etc. Our news coverage generally applies to tourism professionals around the world, interested in the U.S. and Canadian market.

Do you have to be a paid member to post a news release?
You have to be registered, but you do not need to be a paid member to post news.

Can I submit a press release about my company for free?
Specific press releases about your company are treated as advertising and a fee applies.

Can I submit a link to interesting articles around the web?
We are delighted to receive your feedback and/or links to interesting articles.

How often do you send your newsletter?
Our U.S. edition of the newsletter is sent once a week. Our Canadian edition is sent twice a week.

Yes and Yes. You may upload documents such as promotional brochures, RFPs, photos and videos. Uploaded documents may be made public or restricted to selected people in your contact group.

Do you have a discussion forum?
We offer a Peer-to-Peer space where you can ask questions and obtain answers from other tourism professionals?

Will I get unsolicited email i.e. spam?
Our rules and system prohibit spamming. Despite our best efforts, however, we cannot completely prevent individuals from sending emails. If you should receive emails that you considered to be spam, please contact us at info@tourismexchange.com.
