REINFORCING DOMESTIC TRAVEL: SEE THE MARCH ISSUE OF TOURISM ONLINE

1256 days 10 hours 23 minutes ago
"We have to understand that domestic travel is the majority of our tourism business in Canada," says Johanne Gallant, chair of the Canadian Tourism Commission's Canada (domestic market) committee. "We need to speak directly to consumers to change their image of Canada, putting the emphasis on exploring their own country as an exciting place to travel, where you can find your own experiences and have a great time." Read Gallant's comments in the March issue of TOURISM Online.

In the same issue of TOURISM, tourism expert Marie Andrée Delisle talks about the new World Center of Excellence on Tourist Destinations (CED), based in Montréal, and TOURISM continues its series on Making and Event Come Alive, a discussion with Québec 400's Josée Laurence.

These, and much more, are in the latest TOURISM Online, at www.canada.travel/corporate.
