According to Money magazine, planning meetings is one of the best jobs you could have.
Money magazine counted meeting and convention planner among its list of the “50 Best Jobs in America.” Ranking No. 39, planners were credited with an average pay of $56,000 and the prospect of seeing a 22 percent growth rate over the next 10 years.
What’s curious is that on its report card, Money magazine only graded the creativity needed for the profession a “B.” Obviously, research for the rankings did not involve hands-on experience.
